The end of men and the end of the city
Research abstract

Our efforts aim to reveal an interpretation of Aristotle’s political theory, capable of describe the political foundations of the moral agency of the citizens demonstrated in Nicomachean Ethics. Also, this project tends to identify the relationship between the Nicomachean book and the political treatise, especially in the key concepts as “finality”, “common good” and “happiness”. At the end of our business, we seek to identify the best form of government among the three praised by Aristotle, which are: royalty, aristocracy, and the constitutional government.
